Amazon pledges to battle homelessness in its headquarter cities

Amazon says its $eight million donation will “help offer additional housing and support services for our neighbors in need.”

Amazon stated Tuesday that it will donate $eight million to battle homelessness. Plymouth Housing in Washington will obtain $5 million, and the Arlington Community Foundation will get $three million. Both nonprofits are positioned in Amazon headquarter cities.

In addition to the donation, Amazon will match worker contributions to the next charities as much as $5 million by Sept. 30:
