A small group of state attorneys normal is wanting into whether or not Google has violated antitrust or shopper safety rules, Bloomberg reported Friday, citing unnamed sources. However, it is unclear if their preliminary investigation will result in authorized motion.
Google did not instantly reply to a request for remark however advised Bloomberg that privateness and safety are constructed into its merchandise.
“We will continue to work with state attorney generals on policy issues,” a Google spokeswoman advised Bloomberg.
Last September, former US Attorney General Jeff Sessions met with state attorneys normal to debate whether or not Google and Facebook may be, in accordance with Bloomberg.
