Tim Cook, Mark Zuckerberg make high CEO checklist for seventh 12 months in a row

Apple, Facebook, Google and the remainder of Silicon Valley could also be underneath strain from customers and lawmakers, however tech staff apparently see a special facet of chief executives. Apple CEO Tim Cook and Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg landed on Glassdoor’s 2019 checklist of the highest CEOs within the US. They’re the one two executives to have made the checklist yearly.

Glassdoor, one of many world’s largest job and recruiting websites, launched its annual Top 100 CEOs checklist on Tuesday, the primary part of its yearly Employees’ Choice Awards. 

Nearly 30 CEOs from the tech business made this 12 months’s checklist. Cook moved greater on the checklist, from No. 96 to No. 69, and Zuckerberg fell from the No. 16 spot in 2018 to No. 55 this 12 months.  Microsoft’s Satya Nadella and Google’s Sundar Pichai additionally landed on the checklist, at No. 6 and No. 46, respectively. Pat Gelsinger, CEO of VMware (No. 78 in 2018) ousted Eric Yuan, Zoom Video Communications CEO, from the No. 1 spot.

Who makes the checklist and the way it’s compiled is set by nameless worker evaluations and an algorithm that examines the amount, high quality and consistency of evaluations through the eligibility time-frame.
